What is it?

The first Scarborough Fair Festival is set to take place in May 2016, with a showcase at Victoria Embankment Gardens, one year ahead of the inaugural event, on Bank Holiday Monday.

A brand new boutique art and music festival overlooking Cayton Bay in Scarborough, Yorkshire will take place for the first time, from 27th to 30th May 2016.  Set amongst the wonderful views of the stunning coastline at Redcliffe Farm, Scarborough Fair will kick off the UK summer festival season with an eclectic mix of pop, folk, funk, jazz and dance music talent; as well as comedy, cinema and a Talks Tent for the discerning festival goer.

To celebrate the announcement, Scarborough Fair will this Bank Holiday Monday host an event at Victoria Embankment Gardens Bandstand in London, from midday until 8pm.  The free showcase will present a snapshot of the festival’s entertainment including Etta Bond, acoustic soul from Ayanna Witter-Johnson, stand-up comedy and an exclusive excerpt of Razorlights’ Darren Berry’s new ‘Punk’ Opera, The Crocodile of Old Kang Pow.
