What is it?
The third annual Low Wood No Wood Cardboard Boat Race will take place on Saturday 16th May 2015 at Low Wood Bay in the Lake District.
The competition sees brave teams take to Lake Windermere in boats made of cardboard.
Boats in the competition should be made of cardboard and only be propelled by paddle. All teams taking part should have a Captain and at least one of the team should be paddling. Teams must navigate around the buoys and back along the set course. The race will be conducted in heats and the winning team will be the one with the best time.
