What is it?

The Smuggler’s Den Inn, a traditional coaching inn, will be hosting its 16th annual Pie & Ale Festival from Thursday 30th April to Monday 4th May 2015.

This year’s festival will have over 70 fine ales on offer and plenty of homemade pies. During the weekend there will also be live music in the festival marquee.

Are you ready for the Pie & Ale Festival?

The live music will kick off with Black Velvet at 8pm on 30th April.  On Friday 1st May will be Ten Bob Notes and Strawdogs, then on Saturday the entertainment will include Dustbowl Children, Me & the Devil, Jonah’s Lift, The Flamming Infidels and Emerald.

Sunday 3rd May will see Grapefruit Moon, Lori Campbell, Cahooty, Small Wonder Band and The Bell Jars play.  Finally, on Monday 4th May will be Grapefruit Moon and Lori Campbell.

The Smuggler’s Den Inn is an idyllic thatched 16th century pub nestled in the heart of the north Cornish countryside.

Now in its 16th year, the Pie & Ale Festival has a cult-like following.  Supporters of the festival often choose to camp over during the weekend to make the most of the tranquil countryside and beach, only moments away.
