Brighten up your 5k with Run or Dye in Manchester

By Caroline King - March 3, 2015Posted in : Alternative Sport

Run or Dye - 5k - UK

Run or Dye, a colourful run for colourful people.

When: 18th April 2015, from 10am

Where: Platt Fields Park, Manchester

£: Costs £25 per person to enter.  Children under 6 years may run for free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult.  Free to watch.

What is it?

On Saturday 18th April 2015, take part in the world’s most colourful 5k with the Run or Dye event, in Manchester’s Platt Fields Park.

Enter as an individual, or as a team, and dress in white (or in costume if you prefer) for this 5k run with a difference. Participants may run, walk or dance their way through the course, whilst getting showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based dye at every kilometre mark.  At the finish line there will be more colourful fun as the end becomes a Dye Festival where everyone celebrates together in a colour storm.

Every Run or Dye participant gets a bag filled with all the gear needed to take part, including a race number, tee, bracelet, tattoo, and dye packet.

There will be more Run or Dye events taking place during 2015 in London, Exeter, Bath, Liverpool, Cheshire, Kent, Bournemouth and Perth.
