A Passion for Birmingham returns to the city this Easter

By Caroline King - January 27, 2015Posted in : Theatre

Passion for Birmingham 2015 - Old Joint Stock When: 24th March – 3rd April 2015 at 7pm

Where: At various locations across Birmingham

£: Tickets cost £12

What is it?

A stranger arrives in Birmingham City Centre as the biggest festival in its history begins.  The events of the next few days will turn the world upside down…

A Passion for Birmingham returns after a sell-out run in 2014, but on a bigger scale.  This immersive, promenade production re-imagines one of the world’s most famous stories, the life and death of Jesus Christ, as a gripping contemporary drama.

The production leads its audience through a variety of different spaces in Birmingham city centre.  In each new location, a new scene unfolds.  One of the locations will be Birmingham Cathedral, St. Phillips, which is celebrating its 300th anniversary year throughout 2015.

Please note that this performance involves walking around outdoor spaces and stairs.
