Hop to Lancashire for Lytham 1940s Festival

What is it?

The 5th annual Lytham 1940s Festival takes place on 16th and 17th August with a full weekend of family entertainment.  There will be historic vehicles, 1940s era music and dance, a living history camp and a vintage tea room.

On the Saturday there will be stories and activities at Lytham Library and a sing along with 1940s singer, Katy Bradly, at Lytham Methodist Church.  On both days on Lytham Green from 10am to 5pm there will be a military vehicle parade, a war re-enactment, an RAF airfield, vintage vehicles, military vehicles, a 1940s tea room (at the Yacht Club) and a fashion show.

In addition to the free events at Lytham 1940s Festival there will be some ticketed events over the weekend including a Hula Hop at Lytham Sports Club, a 1940s dance at Lowther Pavillion, and a 1940s tea dance.
