What is it?

Discover more about the fantastic inventions, science and technologies that have come from the East at the drop-in Made in China Workshops at Enginuity, near Ironbridge.  The workshops will take place during the summer school holidays until Sunday 31st August, between 10.30am and 3.45pm.

The hands-on activities will include using craft materials such as tissue paper and brightly coloured card to make boats, kites and shadow puppets, as well as the chance to have a go at printing.  These activities will vary from-to-day and carry a small extra charge in addition to the museum entrance fee.

There will also be a choice of family activities that are included in the admission charge, such as decorating paper bricks and adding them to the ‘Great Wall of Enginuity’, solving tangram puzzles and following a trail that takes in museum exhibits linked to the inventions of China.  The presenter-led show in Gadgetdom will highlight the enormous contribution that China has made to the world of design and technology.

Enginuity is a family friendly science and technology centre with plenty of hands-on activities and interactive exhibits.
