What is it?
Outdoor flying trapeze school, Gorilla Circus, will be stationed in Battersea Park for the whole of August. Anyone with a taste for adventure can learn the skills and techniques of flying trapeze with Gorilla Circus’ adrenaline-pumping two-hour classes.
Starting at eight years old and with the oldest student to date being 78, outdoor flying trapeze is for anyone looking for a fun alternative to a gym workout. Improving balance and coordination, strengthening the core and building upper body strength.
Spending the beautiful summertime outside at Gorilla Circus is certainly a different way to see some of London from the air. For the past five years Gorilla Circus has been teaching the popular new art of aerial circus to anyone craving a high-flying adrenaline rush. Classes are run daily through to September with up to 10 people per class.
Beginners learn basic tricks on low bars before working their way up to being caught by an instructor on a separate swinging bar. As they progress, more challenging courses are readily available and those truly addicted to the thrill of flying can join Gorilla Circus’ weekly frequent flyer and intermediate classes. The school is also available for corporate team building, office days out, stag and hen parties and other private events.
