Mermaids and salty sea dogs at Clovelly Maritime Festival

Clovelly Maritime Festival 2014 When: 20th July 2014, from 10am

Where: Clovelly, North Devon

£: Admission costs £6.50 for adults, £4 for children aged 7 to 16 years (or free if in fancy dress), £17 for a family and free for children under 7 years.

What is it?

Clovelly Maritime Festival takes place on 20th July 2014.  Starting at 10am, there will be a full day of activities and entertainment for all ages.

Entertainment will include lively music, crafty creations, maritime storytelling, Punch and Judy, underwater adventures and street theatre.  In addition there will be seafood kitchens and arts and crafts on the quay.

There will be free entry to the event for under 16s if they come dressed as a pirate, mermaid, salty sea dog or fish wife.  Under 7s have free entry already but are encouraged to get dressed up too.

Clovelly Maritime Festival is held in aid of the North Devon Hospice.
