Where: Wroxeter Roman City, Wroxeter, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY5 6PH

£: Workshop costs £30 and booking in advance is essential.

What is it?

Get hands-on with English Heritage‘s exclusive Roman Cookery Workshop at Wroxeter Roman City on 19th March.

Find out more about authentic cooking techniques, ingredients and recipes of the times and help to create your own Roman dishes.

Even though today it is just a small Shropshire village, Wroxeter or ‘Viroconium’ was the fourth largest city in Roman Britain.
