Learn to love running at UCL Art Museum

By Caroline King - February 11, 2014Posted in : Art, Cinema, Classes & Workshops, Museum

Time-Based Media in Conversation: How To Stop Worrying And Love (Running) When: 26th February 2014, 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Where: UCL Art Museum, South Cloisters, Wilkins Building, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT

£: Free but booking is essential.

What is it?

Time-Based Media is the current exhibition at UCL Art Museum, looking at the way video, sound and multimedia are used to create a dialogue between the viewer and the work of art; using selected works acquired from the Slade School of Fine Art.  To coincide with this exhibition there are a series of free events taking place at UCL Art Museum.

Taking place on 26th February Time-Based Media in Conversation: How To Stop Worrying And Love (Running) will discuss why we should fall in love with running.  Join Kai Syng Tan in this wacky performance-lecture-cum-film-screening.  The artist-researcher-cum-mover-(salt-)shaker-cum-PhD graduate from the Slade School will run through the ways in which running can empower us to re-imagine our reality.
