What is it?
The Hunterian Museum is holding a special family event, Barber Surgeon: leeches, lancets and blood-letting, on 19th February.
Meet Rory McCreadie, a Barber-Surgeon from the 17th century, and his pet leeches! From blood-letting to amputation, Rory reveals the gory secrets of surgery from centuries past.
The museum also offers free family trails, worksheets and drawing materials in the gallery throughout the year.
