Take a time travelling adventure to Wilfred Bagshaw’s House of Wonder

Wilfred Bagshaw's Time Emporium

Wilfred Bagshaw’s Time Emporium

When: 12th – 15th March 2014

Where: Aynhoe Park, Aynho, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX17 3BQ

£: Tickets cost £65 and include a champagne reception.  Coach tickets to the venue cost £20 return.

What is it?

This March Wilfred Bagshaw’s Time Emporium invites you on a new time travelling adventure in a new stunning location at a 17th century manor house, just outside London.

In the next installation of The Time Emporium, Wilfred Bagshaw invites you into his ancestral home to discover the curios and characters he has gathered from throughout history.  His ground-breaking approach blends immersive theatre and pervasive gaming and puts the audience at the heart of the action, inviting them to become part of the story and affect the outcome.

If required, the Bagshaw chartered coach will pick people up from London, taking them to Aynhoe Park and into history. Along the way they will see wonders of the world from places including Rome, Egypt and Constantinople; and even meet history’s most notable alumni.

Coach tickets from London cost £20 return and will depart from London at 6pm and return at 10.30pm. The pick-up and return drop-off point will be the Hilton Hotel on Holland Park Avenue.

Travellers will sample delights from the past and present – perhaps even the future – by watching the action unfold around them or by throwing themselves into the middle of it; maybe even becoming a hero for the night. Wilfred Bagshaw’s House of Wonder promises to be a night out like no other.

The event is organised by Disappear Here, a new collaboration between The Winterwell festival and pervasive gaming company The Tom Sawyer Effect.  As such there will be both a fantastic narrative to both follow and engage with and also unashamed entertainment and revelry from different eras.
