Enjoy a Floodlit Swan Supper at Slimbridge

By Caroline King - January 6, 2014Posted in : Food & Drink

When: 10th January 2014 from 6.15pm

Where: WWT Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, Slimbridge, Gloucestershire GL2 7BT

£: Costs £26 per head which includes a three course meal and mulled wine.  Booking in advance is essential

What is it?

From the comfort of Slimbridge Wetlands Centre’s heated observatory watch the wild Bewick’s swans as they are fed by one of the expert wardens.   Berwick’s swans are the smallest swans to visit the UK and come over from Siberia.  Enjoy a glass of mulled wine whilst learning about the incredible stories of the birds.

After this wonderful wintry spectacle you will be able to enjoy a three course meal, followed by tea and coffee in the centre’s Water’s Edge Restaurant.
