What is it?
The glow from hand-crafted paper lanterns will be lighting up the streets of Truro on 20th November as the City of Lights takes place. This year’s parade will have the theme of Expect the Unexpected, so visitors to the event should see plenty of impressive and unusual illuminations.
The parade begins at 7pm and will feature around 14 big lanterns and 500 small lanterns. As well as the parade through the streets of Truro, there will be entertainment in the form of music and dance during the evening. There will be samba, brass bands, pipes and drums which will begin before the procession and carry on afterwards.
