Christmas treat for pooches with Santa Paws pop up grotto

By Caroline King - November 14, 2013Posted in : Food & Drink

Santa Paws Grotto - Lily’s Kitchen - All Dogs Matter When: 28th November – 21st December 2013

Where: Santa Paws Grotto, 67 Pimlico Road, London

£: Free entry (there are extra costs for some of the grotto activities)

What is it?

Christmas is the time of year for festivities, goodwill and family – not forgetting our loyal furry four-legged friends.  In order to make sure pooches get their share of the Christmas treats, Lily’s Kitchen have appointed Santa Paws and his many Rein-Dogs to create London’s first pop up Santa Paws Grotto.  During their visit, dogs can meet Santa and enjoy a scrumptious Christmas dinner.

Launched by Lily’s Kitchen, the natural and organic pet food brand, the grotto will be located at 67 Pimlico Road, London from 28th November to 21st December.  At the grotto there will be a multitude of festive activities for every beloved dog including Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for dogs to enjoy at their very own table.  In addition there will be minced pies and mulled ‘whine’, an opportunity to buy special Christmas treats and gifts for dogs that have been well-behaved all year.  You can become part of the scenery with a Christmas face in hole board and a festive fancy dress box plus have lots of photos taken with Santa Paws and Lily’s Little Helpers.  A pampering station will offer massages for ‘shopped-out’ dogs and there will be plenty of prizes to win.

The Santa Paws Grotto will be supporting local north London charity All Dogs Matter.  For every Christmas Dinner for Dogs purchased at the grotto, Lily’s Kitchen will donate a nutritious dinner to a dog in need to enjoy on Christmas Day.  Henrietta Morrison, founder of Lily’s Kitchen says, “It’s really important to us to give as much back as possible to our beloved dogs this year and All Dogs Matter is the perfect choice being very close to our roots in Hampstead.”
