Helmsley Archaeology Store Tour - English Heritage

£: Free (booking in advance is essential)

What is it?

This free guided tour is led by English Heritage’s curators. It will give visitors the chance to view the archaeology collection at Helmsley and find out the amazing stories behind the artefacts.

Whilst you are in the area, why not visit Helmsley Castle?  Find out how the castle has evolved over the centuries, from a mighty medieval fortress to a luxurious Tudor mansion, to a Civil War stronghold and a romantic Victorian ruin.
