Where: Barts speakeasy bar, Chelsea, London
What is it?
This bank holiday, Uncle Bart and his Mexican mates have decided to smuggle the sunshine (and a whole lot more), across the border from their Cabrito and Centinela connections for the ‘Wish you were here’: Party in Tijuana on Sunday 25th August.
Guests can expect the bar tenders to be sporting Mexicana moustaches as they serve mountains of Margaritas, punchy Palomas and Barts special home-brewed Micheladas. There will also be nachos to nibble on and piñatas to play with, all accompanied by the bolero beats of Barts own Mexican music maestro.
In true Barts style, the fancy dress box, will of course be Mexican-themed boasting many a glamorous poncho and stylish sombrero.
Barts is a quirky speakeasy style bar on Sloane Avenue in the heart of Chelsea. It is the brainchild of Duncan Stirling and Charlie Gilkes and is well-loved for its innovative cocktails and sense of fun.
