What is it?
The Just So Festival is an eclectic mix of eccentricity taking families out of their day-to-day lives and inviting them to sing, dance, play, explore and discover art together in a spellbinding natural landscape.
There will be a retro disco, craft workshops, live music, circus performances and cabaret. There will be rocket workshops for budding astronauts, sandcastle competitions and a chance to learn to lasso with cowboys. You can join the fairies on a lantern parade, learn the ancient art of smoke signals and measure yourself on the festival wall. And if that’s not enough then have a pillow fight, make a Sheriff’s badge, learn some sea shanties and play a saw!
Roll up, roll up for the marvellous Mr Alexander and his Travelling Show! A traditional variety show bringing together magic, juggling, unicycling and illusion to make an entertaining sideshow. Not feeling yourself? Then head to the 1950′s ambulance to see the Emergency Poet who will give you a private poetic health consultation and within 10 minutes prescribe you an appropriate poem, verse or lyric. Let Pif-Paf theatre will take you on a journey in their fantastical flycycle or help Play-o-logy create a solar system.
Whatever your age or interests you are bound to find something quirky and fun to do at the Just So Festival.
