What is it?
Tomorrow eager competitors will be testing their appetite and trying to set a new world record at the same time. There will be a Kendal Mint Cake eating contest outside the Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry at 3pm. Challengers will have one minute to eat as much of the minty stuff as possible to try to get in the world record books.
You will also be able to see the world’s biggest bar of Kendal Mint Cake which will be broken up and auctioned, with proceeds going to MacMillan Cancer Support.
The event is taking place as part of this year’s Mintfest.
