Celebrate British wool with the Glastonbury Wool & Alpaca Festival 2013

By Caroline King - August 22, 2013Posted in : Dance, Fair, FEATURED-STORIES, Festival, Food & Drink

Glastonbury Wool & Alpaca Festival 2013 When: 24th & 25th August 2013, 10am – 5pm

Where: Glastonbury, Somerset

£: Adults £6.50 and children £1.50

What is it?

Head to the Glastonbury Wool & Alpaca Festival on 24th and 25th August to catch the annual sheep and alpaca run down the high street.

As well as the woolly animals running riot there will be a ‘have a go’ demonstration hall, an artisan and craft hall, a fashion show and a produce fair. You can also watch sheep shearing, clog dancing, sheep dog demonstrations and wool handling. Why not try your hand at spinning, peg looming, knitting, crocheting and weaving?
