The annual Carve Carrbridge chainsaw carving competition will take place on Saturday 31st August 2013 in Carrbridge, which is located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.

Top chainsaw carvers both from the UK and around the world, including entries from the USA and Europe will compete for the magnificent Claymore trophy and prize money.  There will be a whole day of family events including live music, activities, games, stalls, food and drink.

This year The Clan stunt bike team will also be attending and will be running a series of demonstrations of their skills and daring during the course of the day. Wood-related activities including axe throwing, green wood working and back country survival will also take place.  If this isn’t enough there will also be a woodland orchestra, fun fair, rat race and pipe band to keep everyone entertained.
