By Caroline King - August 31, 2013Posted in : Food & Drink, Theatre

Old Joint Stock - Birmingham

A member of the public submits a story at the Old Joint Stock Pub

When: 3rd – 7th September 2013 at 7.30pm and 7th September at 2.30pm

Where: Old Joint Stock Theatre, 4 Temple Row West, Birmingham

£: 10 (concessions 8)

What is it?

Tell Me About Your Ex, at the Old Joint Stock in Birmingham, is a new theatrical experience where the audience is the author.

For the past six months the Birmingham public and drinkers in the Old Joint Stock have been sending tales from their relationships, which will be presented in a show like no other.  The best submissions have been put together to form the verbatim play, with all the stories received mounted in an exhibition in the theatre foyer of the Old Joint Stock during the production.

The stories submitted are a mix of bitter, sad, uplifting, funny and scary, making for an interesting play.  Each night the audience will fill in cards with their own story, these will then feed into the production to create a different show each night.
