What is it?

The rise and fall of the four-time Academy Award-winning Hollywood star Katharine Hepburn, told by the tart-tongued, tomboyish Bryn Mawr legend herself in Tea at Five.

Adapted directly from her memoirs, Me: Stories of My Life, Tea At Five by Matthew Lombardo is an intimate look into the life of stage and screen legend, Katharine Hepburn who was well-known for her fiery wit and patrician verve.  Set in her family estate in Fenwick, Connecticut, we see a side of Hepburn which the public rarely saw.

A one-woman tour-de-force, Hepburn reflects on her life through a serious of anecdotes and reminiscences, taking the audience on an unforgettable trip down Broadway, Hollywood Boulevard and memory lane.

Starring Meg Lloyd as Katharine Hepburn, Tea At Five won Best Solo Production, Best Actress and was nominated for Best Director at the Stratford-Upon-Avon Fringe 2012, which was the plays UK premiere.
