By Caroline King - July 23, 2013Posted in : Festival, Food & Drink, Museum

Cosford Food Festival - RAF Museum Cosford When: 27th – 28th July 2013, 10am – 5pm

Where: RAF Museum Cosford, Shropshire

£: Admission is £5 per adult which includes a Cosford Food Festival programme

What is it?

Food lovers will get the chance to sample some of the West Midland’s best cooked dishes and tastiest treats, as RAF Museum Cosford in Shropshire holds its first ever food festival.

Local businesses will be exhibiting some of the region’s finest food and beverages. From homemade salads and hummus in warm pitta breads, freshly baked artisan breads and muesli mixes to homemade African-Caribbean food, charcuterie and tapas treats, there will be something for everyone.

Visitors with a sweet tooth can tuck into some of the delights by Wolverhampton company, Sally’s Sweet Oasis who will be selling traditional tray toffee, handmade fudge, Turkish delight, sweet trees and gift hampers. Chocoholics make a bee-line to Toot Sweets’ award-winning chocolatier Julia Wenlock who will be demonstrating all things chocolaty as she showcases some of her marvellous creations.

An array of wines, ciders, spirits, liqueurs and juices will ensure you won’t go thirsty.  High Ground will be bringing along a wide range of premium coffees and their latest high-octane, chilli and ginger fired cola ‘Cola Rebell’ to add a bit spice.
