What is it?
Londoners are being invited to squeeze into their swimming gear, bring out their bikinis and head to Victoria Park in East London this weekend to enjoy the world’s biggest water sprinkler.
Drinks maker Juicy Water has built the giant sprinkler especially for the event, which will be running from 12 noon to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Measuring over eight metres long by seven metres tall, with five metre jets of water, it’s expected to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest ever residential water sprinkler.
Visitors are encouraged to make the most of the hot weather (fingers crossed) and recall bygone days running through their garden sprinkler. There will be a DJ playing in a garden shed and giant inflatables as well as the opportunity to take part in a giant water pistol fight, lie on sun loungers and generally behave like a big kid.
