What is it?
Enfield’s second annual celebration of the wilder side of performance returns to the Dugdale Centre with a lineup of over 30 performances spanning a range of art forms with artists from across the UK and around the world.

Jonny and the Baptists

What is it?
Jonny and his Baptists – he’s a guy called Paddy – bring a blend of satirical songs and raucous rock. As heard on both The Now Show and The Gadget Show. The performance lasts for 60 mins.
OneTaste Cabaret

What is it?
OneTaste Cabaret will be taking Mimetic to the Edmonton Festival to join in this year’s fairy themed Magical Menagerie. They will be enchanting audiences with exceptional physical theatre, dance and pop-up performances throughout the parade and park. The performances will last for 2 hours.
The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre

What is it?
The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre’s hilarious new show is Socks In Space. Spoofing everything from Star Wars to Dr Who via David Bowie and Vinny Jones, it’s already earned 5 star reviews. Nationwide tour includes a month at the Edinburgh Fringe in August. The show lasts for 60 mins.

What is it?
Cartoon collides with clown theatre as three idiots try to put on a variety show. The company is about to fall apart but everything changes when a big shot impresario is spotted in the audience. Based on the cult South London variety club of the same name and starring some if it’s regular turns The Royal National Theatre of Fools; Episode One fuses comedy and variety acts with a simple tale of jealousy, blind ambition and revenge. The show lasts for 50 mins.

What is it?
Step into the world of Frank Von Nippleman. A man who is lives his life between reality and fantasy. Everything Frank sees reminds him of his past. A past that may or may not have happened. Beautiful, yet bizarre, Livewire is part clown, part buffoon, part character comedy. The show lasts for 60 mins.
Perilous Escapade by Flabberghast Theatre

Puppetry’s Balkan bad-boys return with the sequel to end all sequels! Become enthralled as these tatterdemalion rogues recount their tribulations in the underworld. Marvel as they improvise and burlesque their way through this epic tale of companionship and separation. One hour continuous flow of amusement with a dark and twisted heart. Once again expect riotous exploits, malarkey, molestation and mirth of a magnitude hitherto unseen (since last year).

Killing Roger by Sparkle and Dark

“Could you kill someone, Billy? I mean really, could you? What if they asked you to?” Billy, a conscientious, opinionated teenager, meets Roger, a chain-smoking, chair-ridden, sharp-tongued old man. An unlikely friendship forms and Billy must decide what it means to truly care about someone. Genuinely moving and humorous with striking visual imagery, award-winning Sparkle and Dark’s new writing combines puppetry and live music. The performance is 60 mins long.
Goodbye Gunther by Frank Wurzinger

What is it?
After the success of the Confetti Maker, Frank Wurzinger has teamed up again with award-winning theatre director John Wright (Trestle, Told by an Idiot) to create this hilarious one man physical comedy about life, death and afterlife. Goodbye Gunther plays with one of our biggest fears and taboos – dying. The ever optimistic protagonist finds humour in even the darkest moments. Slapstick, clowning, irreverent improvisation and object play help this clown to rehearse the end of his life. The show lasts for 55 mins.
Pinocchio by Pants on Fire

What is it?
Award-winning actor-musician company Pants on Fire follow their international 5 star hit Ovid’s Metamorphoses with a unique take on Carlo Collodi’s original tale about a wooden fibber. Setting the adventures in a 1950’s Sci-Fi Horror B-Movie, with a barbershop dubstep mash-up soundtrack, man-size puppets, original live songs and flamboyantly lo-tech extravagant storytelling; all traces of Disney are obliterated in this gloriously dark account of the marionette with behavioural problems. The show lasts for 75 mins.
The Bridge by Page One Theatre

What is it?
Page One Theatre is an exciting young company making devised theatre for children. Combining puppetry and projection with expressive movement, they create vivid and atmospheric experiences for children and families. The Bridge tells the story of Lucien, a lonely city rat who watches the pigeons from under Waterloo Bridge and wishes he could join them in the sky. One day he spots the most beautiful pigeon and follows her into the lights of the big city…
The show lasts for 45 mins and is suitable for under 7s and families.
Danny and his Amazing Balloons by Circo Ridiculoso

The Last Laugh by Around the Corner Cinema

What is it?
With live, improvised piano accompaniment from BFI silent film pianist, Costas Fotopoulos. A landmark work in the history of cinema, German Expressionist film, The Last Laugh introduced a method of purely visual storytelling in which all inter-titles and dialogue were discarded. An aging doorman, after being fired from his prestigious job at a luxurious Hotel is forced to face the scorn of his friends, neighbours and society. The film is 91 mins long and a Certificate U.
