What is it?

The annual Catch the Wind Kite Festival takes place in Morecambe on the weekend of the 29th and 30th June.  The festival will have an array of kites in all shapes and sizes flying over the beach.

In addition to the kites there will be street performers, workshops, art activities and live music.  The kites will be flown from the beach near the Midland Hotel and the live music will come from a stage set up outside the Platform venue.

Hi Caroline. This looks like a brilliant event. Can you tell me who is in charge of organizing it and how many years has this event taken place.
