What is it?

Following their inaugural season of outdoor theatre in 2012, Tangled Feet theatre ensemble are presenting two world premieres, Push and One Million, along with a revival of their credit crunch show Inflation at outdoor theatre festivals across the UK.  This season of ambitious free outdoor performances begins on 4th June with Push at Lyric Square in London.

Push places motherhood in the spotlight, examining the intense joys and frustrations in a quirky blend of physical comedy and pram choreography.  Exploding untold private stories in public spaces, Push highlights the often-unseen juggling acts that parents undertake all around us as they try to reconcile the needs of an infant with the pressures of modern life.

Tangled Feet are one of the UK’s leading physical theatre ensembles.  Since 2003, their productions have been pushing the boundaries of theatrical practice, exploring and exploiting the live encounter between audience and performer, and rethinking where and how performance happens.  So far over 60,000 people have encountered their transformative theatre in public places, found spaces and theatre buildings. Participation work with young people surrounds and informs their work.
