What is it?
Sublime Boudoir presents A Marvellous Adventure, an evening of burlesque, cabaret, music and fine dining at the Old Vic Tunnels on Saturday May 25th 2013.
The Old Vic Tunnels open their doors for one last time this May, as hosts Lord Limits and Lady Hagen cordially invite you to their 1920s home for an indulgent night of circus acts, music, cuisine, burlesque and cabaret. Taking to the stage will be the cream of London’s cabaret scene, starring acts from Miss Polly Rae and Miss Betsy Rose. There will be special guest performances by Dirty Martini and Perle Noire, accompanied by food from Michelin-starred chef Oliver Lange.
Since its inception in April 2011, Sublime Boudoir has strived to heighten all five of the human senses, promising audiences sophisticated experiences and timeless memories. The company constructs annual events on a global level – never in the same place twice – with a team that stretches from Europe to Indonesia. Last year the company launched its first annual event in Amsterdam, across four nights, four different iconic venues, with over 40 performers, and Italian executive chefs.
This year’s role of executive chef will be taken by German chef Oliver “Ollysan” Lange of Korkoro by Ollysan, which specialises in the modern interpretation of Japanese Cuisine. Known in Germany for the RTL2 television show Restaurant Sucht Chef, the chef earned a Michelin star for the restaurant, Silk, in Frankfurt’s Cocoon Club. In 2009 he opened his temporary restaurant in Munich to critical acclaim, receiving 14 Gault Millau points.
