May Day at the Black Country Living Museum

What is it?

There will be a chance to get involved with a May Day tradition at the Black Country Living Museum.  Maypole dancing will weave its magic as professional dancers demonstrate the age-old tradition accompanied by live music.  Visitors can join in the fun and have a go at being a maypole dancer.

The Black Country Museum is an open air museum covering 26 acres in the West Midlands.  The museum gives visitors the chance to experience the past including attractions such as tram trips, an underground mine, a spit and sawdust inn as well as carefully reconstructed shops and houses.
