Where: Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London

What is it?
Craft Beer Rising is a festival combining craft beer, music and street food over one weekend in London.
Based (rather aptly) in the Old Truman Brewery, it is a showcase of some of the best beer provided by a mixture of well-known breweries and smaller, lesser known enterprises. From familiar names such as Greene King and BrewDog to The Rebel Brewing Co and The Botanist, there should be plenty of exhibitors to keep trade visitors and beer enthusiasts alike happy.
Alongside the beer there will be DJ sets provided by the likes of Norman Jay and Pete Paphides of BBC 6music Vinyl Revival. Some of London’s finest street food vendors such as The Ribman, Mother Flipper and Fleisch Mob will be there as well to complete the experience.
The festival kicks off on Friday night at 7pm with disco and house music provided by The London Disco Society. On Saturday afternoon (11am – 4.30pm) Alex Barlow from ALL BEER will be sharing his knowledge and there will be Beer cocktail mixology with Ryan Chetiyawardana A.K.A. Mr Lyan. On Saturday evening (5pm – 11pm) Norman Jay will be doing a 2 hour DJ set. There will be world beer tasting with Ben Mcfarland and Tom Sandham, the Thinking Drinkers, as well as the screening of the rugby.
So, if you like beer, what are you waiting for?
