What is it?
Adam Yosef is a Birmingham based photo-journalist, writer and filmmaker who has spent the last twelve years working directly within inner city urban areas and their communities. As a seasoned activist, his personal interest remains in grassroots movements and the power of ordinary people in influencing social change as small pockets of protest grow into great and incredibly powerful political voices.
Yosef’s work follows the development of the post-9/11 anti-war movement in Birmingham, the subsequent anti-racism rallies, the formation of new political forces in the city, anti-cuts protests, peace vigils and mass demonstrations charting from 2001 through to the present day.
See Yosef’s work, Protest, at The Drum in Birmingham from 6th March 2013.
