Where: Home of Charles Darwin (Down House), Kent

What is it?

Enjoy a fascinating lecture at The Home of Charles Darwin, Down House.  Each week join one of English Heritage’s expert speakers as they share their knowledge about the Darwin family and the house and gardens they called home for 40 years.  The series of talks begins with  Science and the Family with Randal Keynes OBE. Keynes is a British conservationist, author and great-great-grandson of Charles Darwin. On 13th February join curator Annie Kemkaran-Smith as she talks about Darwin and his family and on 20th February meet Down House’s head gardener and hear about some of Darwin’s garden experiments. Light refreshments will be provided.
