When: 9th – 24th February 2013

Where: Venues across Nottingham

What is it?

Michael Rosen, Alice Oswald, David Almond, A L Kennedy and Bali Rai will top the bill, supported by many local writers, poets and storytellers at this year’s Nottingham Festival of Words.

There will be performances, recitations, workshops, talks, interviews, games, book sales and live music.  There are plenty of fun events for children too including the Grumblegroar Den and the Nottingham History Roadshow.

The Festival will take place at venues across the city and beyond, including the Newton Building, Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Hall, Newstead Abbey, The Playhouse, the Lakeside Arts Centre, Thrumpton Hall, Broadway, the Antenna Club, as well as many smaller venues and cafes.
