What is it?

The gory business of body snatching in 19th century London has an enduring appeal in popular fantasy.  Author Sarah Wise reveals that truth can be much stranger than fiction.  Wise explores the grotesque world of the resurrectionists, and paints a haunting picture of the lives of the hopelessly poor in London whose fate, often bound up with this brutal reality, is largely forgotten.
