What it is?
After their respective rocking appearances in festivals across Europe, two hilarious shows will come together to play one after the other, same theatre, same night. Carlo Jacucci’s Vitamin and Lucy Hopkins’ Le Foulard will continue to push the boundaries of physical comedy, storytelling and clown in an exceptional double bill at the Pleasance’s main house in Islington.
Vitamin is a show about life (Vita in Italian). A man preaches from a book he never read, he becomes a leader, a marathon runner, a caterpillar. Devised in cabarets and variety shows across Europe, Vitamin features memorable anti-heroes, eccentric characters and the unconventional use of live accordion.
Le Foulard stars a medley of characters, overwhelmed by a love of a show-stopping song and performed using only a scarf, this, Ladies and Gentlemen, is an Art Show, made with love by an idiot.
