A new take on Uncle Vanya with Anton’s Uncles at Jacksons Lane

By Caroline King - September 19, 2012Posted in : FEATURED-CONTENT, Theatre

Theatre Movement Bazaar - Anton's Uncles When: 5th & 6th October 2012 at 8pm

Where: Jacksons Lane, 269a Archway Road, London N6 5AA

£: 14.95/12.95

What is it?

Only the men remain, wrestling with their desires in this fresh, funny and physical look at Anton Chekov’s groundbreaking play, Uncle Vanya.

Theatre Movement Bazaar is an acclaimed LA-based company dedicated to creating original performance works from literary classics.  In this exclusive and rare chance to see them on UK soil, they reinvigorate Uncle Vanya with movement, new writing, dancing and singing.  Outstanding Theatre Award winner at the Edinburgh Fringe 2011, the show concentrates on the unspoken, unseen and unexpressed but be warned, there is unconventional drinking and dancing.
