Step back in time with the Victorian Festival

Llandrindod Wells Victorian Festival When: 18th – 26th August 2012

Where: Llandrindod Wells, Powys, Wales

What is it?

Step back in time to the 1800s with the Victorian Festival at Llandrindod Wells.  There will be a range of events including a vintage car display, a fayre, competitions and various costumed events.

There will be workshops and demonstrations to take part in including calligraphy demonstrations, photogram workshops, and pin hole camera workshops.  On the 18th there’s a Victorian Empire Ball which will be a costumed event at The Pavilion and on the 19th there will be a Grand Costume Parade starting at the Bandstand in Temple Gardens.

Llandrindod Wells Victorian Festival For children there will be a fancy dress competition and a festival party with entertainment by Panic Circus.  For adults there’s an evening of clairvoyance and a talk by Malcolm Archibald.
