By Caroline King - July 19, 2012Posted in : Alternative Sport

Summer Spectacular at Willows Farm Village When: 21st July – 2nd September 2012

Where: Willows Farm Village, Hertfordshire

£: Adults 12.95, children 13.95, under 2’s and members go free.

What is it?

Willows Farm Village has planted 200,000 maize seeds covering 19,500 square metres – roughly the same size as 75 tennis courts – guaranteeing the Willows A-maize-ing Maze will live up to its name.

Summer Spectacular at Willows Farm Village Visitors can put their navigating skills to the test as they pit their wits against the twists, turns and dead ends of the maze and even take part in a family challenge along the way.  After mastering the maze, wannabe Olympians can burn off steam and showcase their sporting skills in the Willows Summer Sports Day Races.  Children can compete in a variety of ‘old-school’ races including the egg and spoon, space hopper and sack races with special certificates for participating children.

It’s a Summer of sport for the farm’s animals too!  After taking part in the sports day races, you can cheer on your favourite goat when they return by popular demand in the twice daily goat races.
