What is it?
The scarecrows first came to Kettlewell in 1994 and now attract thousands of visitors during August. Kettlewell is a picturesque village situated in the Yorkshire Dales and visitors are encouraged to explore some of the more unusual nooks and crannies around Kettlewell during the festival. Why not walk the “Scarecrow Trail”, which has a different theme each year, and see what you find hidden around the next corner? The trail challenges participants to solve the riddles in order to find the mystery word.
If you are in need of a drink or bite to eat during the trail then there are several pubs and cafes in the village as well as refreshments served in the village hall.
