Medieval Royal Pageant at Beeston Castle and Woodland Park in Cheshire When: 3rd – 5th June 2012 (bank holiday), 11am – 5pm

Where: Beeston Castle and Woodland Park, Cheshire

£: Adults 6.50, concessions 6, children 4 and English Heritage members free

What is it?

During the weekend of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations Beeston Castle turn their attention to one of the great monarchs of the past – Edward III.  Join in the celebrations as the castle echoes with drums and fanfares!

Take a journey into the spectacular pastimes of the medieval nobility with The Lion Rampant as they present a day full of fun.   Take part in dances, accompanied by minstrels and singers, cheer boisterous dramas, witness the power of the longbow and gasp at the ferocious freestyle combat and greet the medieval royal King as you transport yourself to the 14th Century.
