Wray Scarecrow Festival and Fair 2012 When: 28th April – 7th May 2012

Where: Wray, Lancashire

£: Admission to Fair: Adults 3, pensioners 1.50 and children under 16 go free.

What is it?

This year Wray Fair is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a whole host of events including the Scarecrow Festival and parade, morris dancers, a 10km race, and new for 2012 a vintage market.

The Scarecrows will be popping up around the village from 29th April until the 7th May, with a giant scarecrow parade taking place on the 4th May at 8pm. The Vintage Market will take place on the school field on 6th May starting at 11am. The 10km road race takes place on 28th April and the John O’ Gaunt Morris Dancers can be seen at the George & Dragon pub on the 2nd May at 7pm.
