What is it?

The Purple Cast present Vincent, a one man play in the form of an imaginary informal eulogy delivered by Theo Van Gogh, brother to Vincent Van Gogh one week after the artist’s death by Leonard Nimoy.  The performance is based on actual correspondence between the two brothers.  More than anything this is a story of family love.  The play is performed by George C Francis.

The Purple Cast was formed in February 2011 by professional actors Wendy Ann Jeffries and George C Francis (Co-Artistic Directors).  Their aim is to produce a mixture of theatre, film and entertainment productions.  The Purple Cast have a wide range of cross-media influences which may manifest in unexpected ways.
