What it is?

Kid Carpet, the much-loved pioneer of catchy, electro-pop music, is turning his hand to live theatre with a rock musical at Jacksons Lane for children aged 3 – 8 and their families.

Kid Carpet & The Noisy Animals follows the adventures of the charismatic singer and his animal band, consisting of a gorilla, a bear, a hedgehog and a badger.  They make friends, play games, contemplate the world and finally rock out at a grand dance contest!

Ed Patrick, the man behind Kid Carpet, was inspired to write the musical when he was bringing up his two year old son – finding himself writing songs about crossing the road and going up the stairs.  In a career stretching over 10 years, Kid Carpet toured around the world as a popular support act for likes of Arcade Fire, The Go! Team and Badly Drawn Boy.
