Stags on stage in The Summer House

By Caroline King - February 21, 2012Posted in : Theatre

Fuel presents The Summer House at Gate Theatre, London When: 28th February – 24th March 2012 at 7.30pm (Saturday matinée 3pm)

Where: Gate Theatre, 11 Pembridge Road, Notting Hill Gate, London W11 3HQ

£: 20 & 15 concessions

What is it?

Teetering between comedy and theatre, high and low art, The Summer House follows three not-so-alpha males on a riotous stag night in Iceland; a final fling before marriage, parenthood and receding hairlines take hold.  Bringing together Perrier Award winner Will Adamsdale (Jackson’s Way), Neil Haigh (Cartoon de Salvo), Matthew Steer (Britain’s Best Mates) and John Wright (co-founder, Told by an Idiot and Trestle) for the first time, The Summer House is a new comedy thriller about friendship and a pertinent reflection on modern masculinity.
