What is it?

Natural Shocks presents Mathematics of the Heart a funny and tender play about the unpredictability of love.  It finds Professor of Chaos Theory, Dr. Paul MacMillan’s life grinding to a halt a month after the death of his father.  However, with the arrival of beautiful PhD student Zainab, his brother (Chancer) in the spare room, girlfriend Emma pushing for a future and the unearthing of a surprise possession of the dearly departed, Paul’s life is about to get a lot more complicated…

The play transfers to Theatre503 after winning acclaim at Brighton Fringe 2011.  Mathematics of the Heart is written by Kefi Chadwick who was selected for the Royal Court Studio Writers’ programme in Autumn 2011 and is currently working on a new play, Exiles.  Natural Shocks theatre company was founded by Donnacadh O’Briain and produces plays in both London and Dublin.
