Pledge your support for musician Jess Morgan

By Caroline King - January 29, 2012Posted in : Music

Jess Morgan Pledge Music campaign and album Jess Morgan is a musician whose blend of folk, acoustic and roots music has already seen her support the likes of First Aid Kit, Ellen and the Escapades and Megson over the past year.  Support from BBC Radio 2, Acoustic Magazine and Rock ‘n’ Reel has already tagged her as one to watch in 2012.  The Pledge Music campaign is aiming to raise money for Jess Morgan’s forthcoming second album ‘Aye Me’, released in the UK on March 26th.

The Norwich-based artist has appealed to fans with a video message asking for their help to independently release the new home-grown album.  Pledgers can choose from a range of lovingly handcrafted exclusive items made by Jess herself, house gigs all over the UK and Europe, as well as straight pre-orders of the album in digital, CD and homemade cassette tape formats.  A full list of available items is viewable on Jess’s Pledge Music page.

The upcoming live dates:

30th January – The Bicycle Shop, Norwich (supporting Foy Vance).
8th February – The Slaughtered Lamb, London (supporting Pillarcat).
14th February – The Malt Cross, Nottingham (supporting Cole Stacey).
27th February – The Gaslight Club @ Oporto, Leeds.
