Hansel & Gretel get a makeover

By Caroline King - January 2, 2012Posted in : Theatre

NTC - Hansel & Gretel When: 14th January 2012 at 6.30pm

Where: SpArC, Bishop’s Castle, SY9 5AY

£: Adults 8, children 5 and family ticket 26

What is it?

NTC present Hansel & Gretel in a new telling of an old tale.  Though it’s as old as the hills, the story of Hansel and Gretel comes up shiny and new for our consumerist times.  Hansel and Gretel are starving, living in a house where there’s nothing to eat.  However, they soon find themselves living in a house where everything is to eat, including the house itself!  But they themselves are the main thing on the menu.  Go along and eat yourself silly and laugh yourself daft.  Suitable for adults and families with children age 6+
