What is it?
Willows Farm Village, one of Hertfordshire’s family attractions, has lambs being born in their Lambing Marquee every day during its February Frolics event. New for 2012 is the Willows ‘Lamb Cam’ in the lambing marquee, allowing visitors to log on from home and see how the newborn lambs are progressing after their visit. As well as enjoying the cute lambs, children can also learn all about them from Tuck the Shepherd who will be on hand to help with the lambing.
While Willows newborn lambs are safe in the Lambing Marquee, Bo Peep has lost her sheep and needs the help of the children to find them; with a prize for every child who takes part in the fun Bo Peeps Lost Sheep hunt.
The Mad Science scientists return due to popular demand with four shows a day and a host of wacky experiments recreating all the fun of the farm, from crisp morning mist to fluffy fleeces.
There is also a full day’s programme of activities including Farmyard Favourites, Tristan the Runaway Tractor, Meet the Falconer and Fun Fair Rides. Indoors Captain Chicken’s Egg Dodge and Woolly Jumpers play barn provide plenty of fun whatever the weather, with Willows Magical Ice Rink also under cover and open for the last chance before the spring to skate on the synthetic ice rink.
